Warranty Process:

Six years ago Merit Electric, Inc. instituted a warranty procedure as a method of demonstrating to customers our commitment to quality installations.  The procedure consists of the following two steps:

  • "Eleventh Month Follow-up"   During the 11th month of the warranty period, we send a letter to the facility to let them know the original warranty for the electrical installation is about to expire.   We ask that they review the installation for items covered by warranty that should be addressed before the expiration.  We ask them to let us know about the small nuisance problems that are sometimes considered unimportant and usually go unreported, because even the small items are a direct reflection on the quality of the work our company provides.
  • "End of Warranty Walk-Through/Interview"   During the final month of the warranty, one of our designers revisits the facility to review the installation and how it is working for the customer.  This is done both to ensure that warranty work is completed to the customer's satisfaction and to collect information to improve on future designs and installations.
