Engineering and Drafting
Once an initial concept and budget has been established, the real design and
engineering tasks begin. At Merit Electric,
Inc., we offer full engineering, drafting and design
services to create a thorough electrical design, complete with stamped permit and
construction drawings and engineering specifications. Our design department works
closely with the project's conceptual designer/estimator to design the project within the
constraints of the approved budget. A feedback process between design and estimating
ensures the conceptual designers are informed of the latest engineering practices/products
so their project budgets are up to date and realistic. Throughout design, the analysis and pricing of options
and alternates continues as the details of the project emerge. Our excellent
relationships
with outside engineers allow us to continue working as a team while maintaining the overall project
budget.
